| DVA Wares, LLC was founded by Margaret Amoretti, a mother of three preemies (including twins!). After surviving two, high risk pregnancies and the stressful challenges related to her children's course of recovery, Margaret found herself driven with a passion for helping others in similar circumstances. Early on, Margaret found journal writing very therapeutic. Various hand written check lists and schedules soon became an absolute necessity to track open issues, feedings, medications, and growth patterns, but were time consuming. In addition, it was difficult to find specific items. An exhaustive search of baby journal software only added to the frustration, as most catered primarily to the "mainstream" population and had very few if any scheduling, search/retrieval, or other organizational and tracking tools. Using her skills as a software designer, first hand experience with her children's prolonged NICU stays at various hospitals, and a clear vision of what was lacking in existing products, Margaret developed Tot Tales™, the only software to combine the best baby journal features with special modules that adapt to the unique needs of preemies and special needs children, coupled with scheduling, tracking and reporting tools. Her hope is that this will be only the first of many products offered by DVA Wares to empower, enrich, and enhance the lives of parents and their children for years to come! |
